Courtney and Jason ~ Baby Coming!

Last July I had the opportunity to document in photos, the wedding of Jason and Courtney! What a delight! And now, with an arrival set for August, the two are anticipating their first baby! What a blessing!

Here’s a few images from our time together, documenting the impending arrival of their Little One.

JD ~ Senior Year

The sports fan in me draws me to athletes … I’m enamored by their skill, impressed by their discipline and willingness to work hard. For me, to be called “an athlete” is the highest of compliments.

May I introduce you to an athlete named JD? He’s got “stud” written all over him — a top football player, All-CIF in wrestling and then a three-event competitor in track and field. Yea, that’s right, a three-sport letterman in the 21st Century! Pretty cool.

I hope you enjoy the images!

Dana ~ Senior Year

Dana’s graduating this week! Wow! High school graduations never get old! She’ll be adorned and looking all scholarly (cuz she is — she’ll be at UC Riverside next Fall to study political science) for JW North’s graduation in just a few short days. But who’s counting.

She laughs easily with a charming smile attached to it for no extra charge. Her education has been marked by AP and International Baccalaureate courses, which naturally lead one to conclude she’ll do just fine over the next four years of college.

Kassie, Christian ~ Their Senior Year!

Kassie and Christian are graduating from Norco High School this year and together they make quite a couple. Energetic, respectful, fun, kind … just a few words to describe them in the couple-hours we spent together shooting their portraits.

They’ve had a great run at Norco, playing football and basketball and excelling in the classroom. Fun shoot of two great people! Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Karis and her Mommy and Daddy

I learned from talking with Kevin and Angie that their adorable little baby’s name, Karis, means “Grace” in Greek.  How cool is that?  Grace — that salve that makes life so much more rich and beautiful — is a gift given from heaven above.   Like Karis!  Oh, may she bestow grace on those who come in contact with her all the days of her life!

What a joy it was to photograph their wonderful little family.  Karis was  a real trooper, smiling through the whole time.  The love Kevin and Angie poured out on her was sweet and tender and protective.
