Berzansky Kids

Steve and Stacy have a couple of cute kids which made for some fun times as we wandered around downtown Riverside. Greyson is about to get all graduated from elementary school which was “the reason” for our shoot, but with a family as photogenic as this one, why not have mom and sis jump into a few of them too?

Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Cool wall, cooler family!

Perry ~ Senior Year

He’s quiet and a bit reserved in personality, but don’t let that disguise the real Perry. He’s a quiet storm.

His high school years are marked by a success that’s quiet, but not in the sense of absent. From academics to athletics, he has achieved far more than most kids his age. His grades are near the top of his class, his athletic accomplishments are the stuff most guys would pay for.

Perry’s accolades are louder than him, but that’s ok. Those of us who know him, know that whatever good he has gotten, its come through hard work and discipline. The achievements weren’t aimed at for the sake of fame or notoriety, rather, Perry has gone after the goods for that’s what you should do. Intrinsic rewards are rich and don’t draw loud or flashy announcements from those who’ve reached them.

With college at Nortre Dame DeLamure in the Bay Area on the horizon, none should be surprise to see even more success come his way. Just don’t expect him to shout about it.

We had fun exploring the wilds of Riverside for his senior portraits. Here’s a few of my favorites.

Raelyn ~ Senior Year

Most might recall their high school years as something akin to riding a roller coaster. So much of those four years of life can send a teenager reeling; the ups and the downs are equally thrilling and terrifying.

While Raelyn has had her share of thrills and valleys over the last four years, she emerges today confident and capable, ready to take on the next stage of life. Her years have also been marked by victory and success, coming back from defeat, and overcoming whatever was thrown at her.

She’s been a model for what high school should be about … never a cake walk, but a steady progression toward greater things. She leaves in a month, excited about college where she plans to run track and cross country and study toward a career in counseling. Based on the record she’s amassed to this point in her life, she’s more than ready to roll with the rises and falls and rises of college.

Courtney and Jason ~ Engaged!

Courtney and Jason are quite a pair! They have a warm understanding of each other and their affection toward one another is visible and tangible. They are easy to be around and their lives are being lived deliberately and with purpose.

With anticipation, they are looking forward to July and their wedding, and I’m excited to be a part of it.

We had a fun time on our engagement shoot!

Both are avid baseball fans, (My kind of people, just sayin’!) but Houston, we have a problem. Courtney is fond of the Yankees, Jason the Angels. I think they’ll survive, as long as they focus on home…
